I can’t stress enough how seeing “The Walk” in 3D and on the IMAX screen was so incredibly effective. The build up to the final event, the walking on the high wire between the Twin Towers, made for a somewhat typical bio-pic. But it’s Director Robert Zemeckis’ use of the technology, that makes the climax of the film so real. There were times that I grasped my seat as tight as I could because I felt I was up on those towers. I felt the fear of heights!

Unfortunately, if you don’t see this movie in the same format that I did. If you see it on a regular screen, or worse, on TV, you won’t experience it the way I did. And I’m pretty sure the way the director intended you to see it.
