Daily Comic Journal: October 21, 2017: “I Can’t Understand A Word You’re Saying.”
Yes, I understand why American businesses do this. I understand that hiring phone recruiter’s in a foreign nation is cheaper and means a bigger profit, but at what cost? If taking in huge profits are more important that having employees that can easily and efficiently communicate with potential employees, is it worth it? I’m sure I wasn’t the only potential candidate that he called and spoke with at this time, that couldn’t converse at all with him.
Oh, and I don’t expect to get an interview for this position. I mean, whatever position he described. I still have a hard time remembering and figuring out what he said.
Clear, concise communication is a problem even with persons who both speak English (as a first language)… at least in a written document. Take a “fictitious” value – hypothetically assumed or imaginary or false (with intent to deceive)? However, I totally agree with you – people who work telephones for a living need to be able to be understood.
