Daily Comic Journal: October 22, 2017: “Home Field Advantage.”
Yes, getting to watch the games at home saves (this unemployed artist) money and allows me to relax, flip to other games and shows during the ads and do other things (the laundry, or other chores) during commercials and halftime, so yes, given the opportunity, I’ll watch the games at home.
We set the DVR to record the game, then start watching about 90 minutes later. This lets us zap all the commercials, and we get pretty close to real time by the end of the game. (Probably wouldn’t work if we had really loud fans as neighbors – hearing the shrieks or the groans for any big play.)
