I enjoy Dark Comedy. Films like “Fargo” and “Pulp Fiction” are prime examples of Dark Comedies done very well and frankly, pulling off that kind of work can be very difficult.

From 1995 to 2000 writer Garth Ennis and the late artist Steve Dillon produced over 60 issues of one of the darkest comedic comic book series of all time.

While this Steve Catlin/Evan Goldberg/Seth Rogen produced TV series adaption on FX has made changes and adjustments from the comic, they’ve kept true to the core of the original source and that’s made it must viewing for me!
