The Happy Meal consists of a hamburger, french fries, apple slices and a bottle of water. I’m guessing that because these slices have to spend a long time sitting in a plastic bag that it’s probably pumped full of preservatives to keep them from going brown, but whatever they used gave them a horrible taste.
In fact, in the third panel, I point out the stick of gum that used to be in each pack of baseball and other collectible cards. Yes, they were had as hell to chew, but i’d take those sticks over these preserved slices any day.
