In case you didn’t get the TV show I was referring to in the last panel, it was “The Honeymooners”. The 1955, 1956 classic sitcom had basically one set, the Kramden’s kitchen.

Ralph (Jackie Gleason) was a NYC bus driver who lived with his wife Alice in their tiny Brooklyn apartment. He didn’t make much of a salary and his wife didn’t work. As far as we the audience could tell, their apartment consisted of the kitchen (the only room we ever saw)  a bedroom and a bathroom. No living room. Because of that, if these characters lived outside of the big city, I could easily see the Kramdens and even the Norton’s living in trailers.
