I guess if my mom lived in an urban area and needed to go somewhere she could take public transport. but even still, at 94 I don’t think taking public transport would be easy or safe. Oh, and before anyone suggests that she could take Uber or Lyft, no, that wouldn’t work. Even though she’s able to live by herself, she wouldn’t be able to use those services as she’s completely non computer savvy and doesn’t own or use a cell phone. Anyway, since I moved back to this area in 2017, with me and my sister living nearby there’s always at least one of us here in case she needed a ride anywhere or needs something from the grocery store.
