I remember, I was probably 13, 14 years old when I first saw the commercial for that “Growing Up Skipper” doll. Now, to be fair, they don’t emphasize in the ad that her breasts grow (though you can kind of see it) but when that doll hit the market there were plenty of articles written about it and frankly once you know that part of the doll’s “function” is to grow breasts, you can’t really forget it. I laughed so hard when I saw them include that doll in the movie.
