It’s always difficult to review a film that, though open for everyone, is mainly aimed for a much younger viewer. You have to ignore the obvious sentimental cloying scenes and jokes and gags you’ve seen hundreds of times before because, knowing that for many movie going children, this will be their first exposure to it. My assessment that this is an extremely boring film is, … because… well,…. it is. As I mention, “Toy Story 2” was extremely good (my personal favorite of the Toy Story series of films) and while other recent animated sequels haven’t been nearly as good (“Incredibles 2”, “Despicable Me 2”, etc…) at least they weren’t boring. They kept what made the first film work and adding something more. This film, doesn’t.

And to prove that I did in fact enjoy the first Frozen move, here’s my comic review for it, when I saw it in December of 2013. Almost seven years to the day that I saw its sequel.
