Not sure if I’ve mentioned it here or in my comics before, but I have two fireplaces. One, upstairs in the living room and the other one downstairs in the family room. Since the family room is technically in the basement, most of it is underground, It’s cool in the summer, BUT, its cold in the winter. (I probably should get more insulation down there). Because of the cold winters, especially here in the “deep freeze”, I tend to use that family room fireplace far more than usual.
