I’ve covered Linkedin through various cartoons so far during my job search. The best way I believe to describe this is:

• If you have a job and have been employed for over a decade, you don’t give a shit about Linkedin and it’s nothing more than an occasional annoying e-mail that you get.

• If you’re out of work and struggling like hell to get a job, let alone an interview, you’re constantly being told that Linkedin is the only way to get a job in the 21st Century.

Notice a disconnect here?
