Daily Comic Journal: February 17, 2023: “My Daily Comics Bar Mitzvah?”
Yes, it’s that time of year again. To think that I’ve been drawing/writing these comics since 2/17/2010. To remind you, here’s the first comic from that day:
Now granted, this drawing was just for me (at that time) I wasn’t thinking of posting it or sharing it with anyone else, but I’m very happy and proud with how much my work has grown since that day. I’m still hoping that I could convince a publisher to collect many of these in a book.
Well, maybe one day.
So even though after 13 years (and over 4,100 comics) I’ve never made any money on these and I don’t have a large readership, I’ll keep making them. As I say in the comic, I LOVE drawing them!
Congratulations, though I suppose it is kind of delayed, considering the actual jubilee was 2½ years ago. It can get a bit confusing, the way everyone of your strips has 2 Nows, the Now of the strip date and the Now of the publication date (though I totally understand why it must be so)
