Thanks to my years and years of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies viewings as a kid, I learned a lot about what was popular in the years long before my birth. Much of the humor of those cartoons were derived by popular entertainment, entertainers and advertisements and jingles.

One particular advertisement jingle that they spoofed a lot were the unique roadside signage for Burma Shave, which began in the mid 1920’s.
