Daily Comic Journal: January 19, 2020: “Good Morning Mourning.”
The Mourning Doves have a distinctive song. It sounds like the mournful cooing of a dove, hence the name. I remember hearing them a lot when I grew up around here.
My drawing of the bird isn’t the greatest, so, here’s what a Mourning Dove looks like:
