Here’s an image of the last store that was on that plaza before the U-Haul moved in. This is the K-Mart before it closed for good.

In the 1960’s There was K-Mart and a K-Mart Foods. My mom shopped there a lot. I bought so many things there when I was growing up. In fact, many of those Doc Savage books that I’ve been rereading lately were bought there. Over the years there were many small shops and a Bonanza Steak House. But those days are long gone.
