This might sound like “insider baseball”, that, if you don’t live around here or have never been in this area, why should you care about stuff like this, but I’m  the kind of person who hates to see when towns or neighborhoods tear up land, especially wooded areas, to pave over and build retail buildings, when they have perfectly established buildings and areas just sitting there, empty.

This story, about the revitalized Norwin Shopping Plaza is proof (to me at least) that once bustling areas, now suffering in disuse, can still be brought back to life as a functioning vital service to the community.

I was hoping that I could find photos of the original shopping center, taken in the 1960’s or 70’s, but while searching thru the internet, I came up empty.
