When I was doing some research, looking over William Hurt’s movie career, I saw that he had the “standard actor career”. Early in his career he appeared in Award nominated and winning films and performances:

“Kiss of the Spider Woman” (1985), “Children of a Lesser God” (1986), “Broadcast News” (1987) and “The Accidental Tourist” (1988).

Then as he got older he started appearing in adventure/franchise films:

“Lost in Space” (1998), as General “Thunderbolt” Ross in 6 Marvel films and eventually voices for animated films or TV series, “Panthenon.”

He had a hell of a career and his films will always be available to watch.
