It’s funny how ideas will pop into your head, leading you to go a certain way. When I was reading my notes for this day I was wondering what direction I was going to go with this comic. Just before I drew the thumbnail for this, Bam! The visual gag The Simpsons have used, with Homer holding a pennant for various things, came to mind and using this was a no-brainer for me.
