I’m sure there are many different reasons for all of the Mall closings across the country and that many were probably inevitable. But, I still think that there’s a future for brick & mortar stores. When I used to go those stores in the mall I’d take my time in the book store checking out the books or checking out the albums in the record store and the toys in the toy store. I believe that because all of these stores are contained in one large structure customers are more apt to take their time browsing. They may not be in as much of hurry than if they were in a Walmart or Target. By taking their time they inevitably will see stuff they had no intention of buying before they entered, but now after seeing and picking up the item…

Let’s just say, IMO, there’s a way to save these places and make them relevant in the 21st Century. It just takes people with a creative and progressive mind to find the solution.
