It’s not that I don’t like to spend time with my cats, I do, but I’d also like to get some reading in. Some nights I’ll pet one cat and read a little then pet the other and read a little, and keep switching off. This works, sometimes, until one cat insists on attention while I’m petting the other so… I put down the book and pet both, again.
