I’m guessing many of these companies that subscribe to the use of these tests, to give possible interviewees, do so because some consultant somewhere, sold them on the idea that using these will supply the with the “best” candidates.

It’s been my experience that they’re really nothing more than a waste of time and in a way, it tells me that these employers don’t have the confidence in the people they’ve hired to choose candidates for future employment. Already, even before I take this test, probably tomorrow, I don’t have much confidence, if offered a job there, to work for this company.
