You might think, from this comic, that I’m a morning person. Far from it. I’ve always been a late night person, which has led to my having difficulty with making it into work on time in my career. Those jobs though, of course, had a commute involved. And a shower first as well. So I’d need to get up much earlier in order to make it in on time.

A perfect example of this would be, if you were reading my comics from 2018 through 2020 you may recall, during my first stint with Siemens, I’d have to drive to the office in Bridgeville to start my work day at 7:00, so I’d need to leave my house by 5:30! This meant waking up no later than 5:15 in order to shower, dress and go. Compare that now to where I can sleep as late as 6:45, well, there’s no comparison.
