If you’ve had the good fortune to not have had to look for a job over the past 5, 10 years then what I’m saying in these comics, especially todays comic, may sound like a foreign language to you. But it’s true.

When you do find a job, a position that you think may be a god fit for you, it can be very tedious and time consuming to apply to it. Many of these positions may just have you fill out a few forms, some with auto fill, then submit (and attach a resume & cover letter). But a whole lot of open jobs will force you to go to the company’s site and first register to the site, then fill out A LOT of forms. Some will even force you to fill out forms of your job history even though it’s all there on the resume you’ve attached to your submission.

After you’ve done this, like I have for the past seven months, when you realize that some of these jobs may not even exist, well, it just adds to your frustration.
