Sometimes when I look at my notes for the day I’m working on a comic, the idea of what I want to draw will come quickly. My original idea for this one was to have in the first panel, my character looking depressed, with all the things on my mind in thought balloons above my head. But as I looked at my thumbnails I wasn’t too crazy about drawing that, I’d felt that I’d done something similar, too many times in the past. Then BAM! I suddenly thought of the classic cover to the 1968 Hulk Annual drawn by Jim Steranko. I thought that would work and be fun to draw as well.
