Daily Comic Journal: April 27, 2018: “Hey, Hey, Hey! It’s … Uh, No.No.”
One of the first albums I ever bought, I might have been 10 years old at the time, was this one:
And along with watching and enjoying the cartoon “Fat Albert & the Cosby Kids”, I bought all eight of these toys:
Yes, I was a fan of his work and I guess, also a fan of his (though not that much of a fan to have actually seen “Ghost Dad”).
So, with the revelation of the kind of person he was and is, how do I wrap my mind around my past enjoyment of his work?
It’s hard to do, but you have to separate the art from the artist. My older brother bought Cosby’s first album. and I probably could still recite 90% of it. On the other hand, as I got older, I developed a taste for Firesign Theater, and Cosby fell by the wayside. Never watched his shows much, except for I, Spy.
[I spell my name….. DANGER. Oh, Nick, you’re such a tool.]
I can recite the entire Nick Danger 3rd Eye, much to my friends chagrin.
