Sure, I’d have preferred to sleep late today (and with my mom still in the nursing home she’s not here at the house to wake me up and make breakfast*) but I don’t really mind helping out our department and company. It also helps that despite the rain, the weather was mild (no snow insight) so driving north on the turnpike was a breeze.

*- Oh, and before I come across as some sort of lazy leech, I really can’t stop my mom from making meals or even washing my clothes when I would visit or now, that I’m temporarily living here.
