Daily Comic Journal: January 25, 2023: “Mulling Over Meaningless Music Monikers.”
It might not be surprising that I’m nearly all alone out here at the park, in the middle of the day with a small snow fall. It also isn’t surprising during this walk that I’m thinking of goofy things about music titles, cause, well, when your walking about 4, 5 miles there’s a lot of goofy things to think about. No, all of that isn’t surprising.
What may be most surprising is that KC and the Sunshine band is touring.
In my town (Aarhus, Denmark) in the late eighties there was a band named ‘Se dagspressen’ – ‘See the daily papers’ – which was what the concert venues put on their concert plans for days where no band had yet been engaged.
Also, around the same time, a Danish comedian recorded a record of humourous songs with a band identified as ‘the world famous And his Band’
