I’m somewhat amused when we make appointments for Medical Checkups or Dental Cleaning, that they’re always for months and months in the future and when we’re in the office and asked to pick a date, we’re supposed to know if that time and date will work. As if we can see six months ahead and be assured we can make it. When I made this appointment, I still had my Health Insurance and still was optimistic that I’d be hired and working again. I had no idea that I’d be forced to sign up for Medicaid. I’m grateful though that my doctor was flexible enough to push the appointment ahead so I won’t have to pay for everything out of pocket.
