The same can be said with buying books online. In my collectors days (or I should say in my ANAL collecting days) I was very, very particular with what the shape the books, magazines and especially comics I bought were in. No wrinkles, bends, tears or worse. But when ordering them online line, you take what you can get.

Now sure, I could return/exchange them, but what a hassle. Repackaging, mailing and waiting (taking a chance again) that the new one would be better. It was much easier, in the pre-internet days, to simply take the item and receipt, then drive back to the store and for ME to physically choose the replacement.
