I probably should have just pulled out the car manual when I started to attempt to change the clock, because no way could I remember how to do it. This made me think, for all the progress and advancements we make with electronics and other devices it’s the old, manual appliances that are more user friendly. It’s nice that my phone and cable box change automatically, but controls with the clock in my car are different than the the ones with the clock on my stove or the one on my microwave or the little alarm clock on my nightstand. Because this only happens twice a year remembering how to work these machines are shoved waaaay back in our brains.
