After my Cobra Insurance ended and I had no health insurance (and with no new job in sight) I spent a lot of anxious hours hoping not to get sick (and especially REAL sick) and when I was wondering what was wrong in my chest I wouldn’t (or couldn’t) go to the hospital to get it checked out because of, you know, no health insurance. Thanks to Medicaid though, I did go to the hospital to get checked out and I don’t fear picking up prescription drugs, that I need, because now I know that I can afford them. Having health insurance makes a person much, much, less stressed. And that’s healthy!
