Daily Comic Journal: March 26, 2018: “I’m Reflecting About A Lack Of A Mirror.”
I’m sure there’ll be many reading this who have never been to an Eat’N Park, especially if you don’t live or have never been in the Pittsburgh area. If not, you may be wondering what the deal is with the carpet and packages on the shelf in panel number 2. One of the things that Eat’N Park is known for are these, the Smiley Cookies.
Any time I see a mirror on a door where I wouldn’t expect to see on, I suspect it to be a one-way mirror. (Maybe I’m just paranoid.)
By the way, I bumped into an old friend/coworker (from when I lived in CT) at the NV Aldi. We ended up at Full Pint for a quick beer (I had to get home for dinner.), and I found out the brewery now has new bartenders. The new guy (Kevin?) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He said they’re trying to come up with some innovative things to boost business on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (very slow days for them).
The Full Pint FB massage told me their trivia night is every other Saturday. I thought that was odd. When I did trivia night at the Tilted Kilt years ago, like I showed on these comics, it was first held on Wednesday’s then changed to Tuesday’s. I’d think they’d rather have special nights during the week rather than weekends to fill in those “dead” weeknights.
