The first James Bond movie I ever saw was 1971’s “Diamonds Are Forever” (the 7th Bond film). I saw it at Lamp theater in Irwin, with my mom & dad. At 10 years old I was pretty excited to see the movie. I felt as if I was seeing a “grown-ups movie”, no kid friendly or family film was this.

Even though I’ve seen a TON of action and adventure films in the 40+ years since I still get a kick out of seeing these films. Yeah, the attitude is out of date and CGI has upped the ante for action and special effects scenes, but there’s still a quality and charm to these movies. And hey, it has one of the best signature film themes of all time.
