Daily Comic Journal: April 20, 2021: “I Hope This Will Get Them Off My Back.”
So, as far as I can tell, I’ve done all that I could. Meeting with the IRS in person, getting the woman who does my returns to file the needed forms. I guess the ball’s in their court now. I’ll wait to hear back from them to make sure everything’s done properly this time.
*Whew!*
Well, that’s one less headache for me.
Now I just need to continue to avoid COVID and continue to search for a job.
Odd coincidence – just before my year-end mail stop for the holidays went into effect, I received mail from the PA revenue service saying my 2021 return had an error. I looked at my copy and couldn’t see the issue they described. I called their number and after 10-15 minutes, the agent figured out the issue was with my 2020 return! Typo or incompetence?? Hopefully, I’ll have a clearer letter from PA when I get my mail in 2023.
