Yes, just two days later, this is another reference to “The Simpsons”. Anyone who reads this and has never seen the episode “The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show” won’t get the punchline. Whether you have or haven’t, the gist of this strip is, because I drew this strip many months after the actual date it takes place the reader doesn’t  know where I actually am in my life, compared to how I’m depicting myself in this strip.
