Daily Comic Journal: December 31, 2020: “Hit The Road 2020, We’re Thru With You.”
This ends my comics for the year 2020.
I pride myself with the discipline of writing/drawing a comic everyday. Unfortunately, it isn’t easy and I’ve had some gaps and stoppages because of,… well,… life has a way of interfering while you’re chronicling your life. After a gap in early 2017, when I restarted on March 8 I’ve now been drawing these non stop (even if they’re well behind from the actual date) and with this comic, it’s my 1,194 in a row, with no gaps.
Since I began these on February 17, 2010 I’ve completed 3,650 comics. If I had no stoppages or gaps I SHOULD have 3,968. So I guess just missing 568 days in ten years isn’t too bad.
Nice foreshadowing with the Twilight Zone reference. Looking forward to your upcoming 1/6 comic.
Thanks for catching that. I’d posted this on facebook and I don’t think anyone there caught it. Too subtle.
Some “highlights” for the upcoming January comics include 1/6 and a COVID test!
