This is a problem with entertainment events and shows in America.

Remember the TV series “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”? When it premiered, first as a series of specials in 1999 then as a regular series in 2000, it was ratings smash. So what did ABC do? They began airing it it several times a week and quickly, people grew tired of it. Too much of a good thing too quickly. American companies see a good thing and exploit the hell out of it to make quick bucks, then they’re shocked when the audiences grow tired of it.

Well, in a long winded way, that’s how these NHL out door games have been. Once a year, on New Years Day. Fine. It was special. But then, by adding these Stadium Series games…. meh.

They went to the well once too often, IMO.
