Working on this comic made me remember how it was when I was a kid. Growing up in the 1960’s and 70’s owning a Television Set was still sort of a luxury. They were still pretty expensive. I think we got our first color TV (probably a console like the one depicted in the comic, that I bought for my parents many years later) in the early 70’s. Now, here in he 2020’s TV monitors are EVERYWHERE, from homes, restaurants, retail stores, doctor’s offices and even gasoline pumps! Even large screen TV’s aren’t that expensive anymore.
