Looking over this comic, I suppose it’s a bit of a selfish one. I know all the reasons, all the why’s and wherefores for the closing of bookstores in the 21st Century. I know those days are gone and are more than likely nothing close to it will ever return, but I’m gonna miss them. They’re fond memories. These four were probably the book stores (not to be confused with comic book stores) that I most frequented:

Oh, and before someone admonishes me for going to big chain book stores instead of small, locally owned stores, I spent a great deal of my life (especially when I was young) living in the suburbs and going to malls. These stores, and those like them, were the most convenient for me to get to.
