He was considering taking the laptop so when the new board arrived then he could install it, but if he did, I would obviously be unable to work. I could also continue to do my job without the sound board functioning, like I’ve been these last few weeks, and just continuing to use the Teams* app on my phone to listen and speak in company wide meetings.

So now I’ll just have to wait until he gets the new board and hope he can fix it here, so I won’t lose any work time.
