Daily Comic Journal: July 10, 2017: “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes (Nose, Mouth, Etc…)”
I’m not saying that people should or shouldn’t smoke. If you’re an adult and can legally smoke and you want to (despite the health warnings) go ahead. BUT- could you at LEAST throw out your butts in an ash tray in your car rather then just tossing them out all over the grass and ground? Is that asking too much?
Once, when someone in the car in front of me at a stop light flicked their butt onto the road, I actually got out of my car, retrieved it, and tossed it (along with a “DON’T LITTER”) back in their window. My wife pointed out this was not a smart thing to do because… road rage, gun nuts, etc. I did report several people when PA had the LITTERBUG hotline though. (If PA would enforce that $300 fine for littering that they make sure to tell you about every time you renew your license or registration, they could reduce our sales tax.)
