How many times over the last two decades have you been on the phone trying to speak with customer support and they inevitably try to get you to hang up and go to their website? Or if you call a theater to get movie times or call any business to find out what times they’re open or a question about a product availability, they always, always, ALWAYS tell you to “Go to our website.” 

So they’re establishing the business model that all pertinent information can be found on their site.

Okay, if that’s the way they want it, we’ll go to their site.

And today, I did.

The result? The wrong information.
