My disdain for the services that Lee Hecht Harrison “provides” didn’t occur just overnight. As I mention in the comic, K’NEX paid for a month’s usage when they laid us off in 2015.

I discuss that here, on 1/12/2015,

Prior to the internet a service like Lee Hecht Harrison would have been valuable. But now, when all they do is regurgitate what anyone can do by themselves on the internet, it looks to me like a great waste of money. Now, if LHH had contacts, in various businesses, that they could take one of our resumes and place it in front of someone, that would make a great deal of difference and be a true service to aid all of us now unemployed.
