Growing up in Westmoreland County of Southwestern Pennsylvania, my entire 12 years of public school was in the Norwin School District. Now I’m probably walking down one of those paths of an old man saying; “In my day…” but I’m pretty damn sure that we didn’t get too many snow days/weather cancelations during my childhood. So this morning when the reporter read a list of every single school district in Westmoreland County with cancelations EXCEPT Norwin, well, I felt as if I’d gone back in time.
