I’ll often see articles or hear critics rave about the spate of dramatic television over the last few decades. Going as far as calling it the New Golden Age of Television. Well, maybe. Unfortunately, that’s not easy to affirm because, this is probably my biggest complaint with modern day television, so many of these highly acclaimed shows are spread out on a myriad of pay channels or streaming services and I’m not about to start shelling out tons of bucks just to catch a show on this channel or that streaming service. Had “The Handmaid’s Tale” been available on my cable I would have easily watched and enjoyed it as every new episode is released, like I did with “Mad Men”, “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”.

Well, I can hope that I’ll get Hulu free again soon so I can finish watching this series. I’m not about to start paying for TV channels and streams, especially now that I’m out of work.
