Today kind of summed up how I’ve been feeling here working at this company, through most of the year. I took this quick-turnaround project with no questions, no hesitations. Jumped right into it, was very confident with what I was doing and when I turned it into the receptionist, who in turn, handed it off to the company president for approval, wasn’t surprised at all when they loved it.

I was able to do all of this because I’ve done this throughout my career and, most importantly, didn’t have my manager here who’d hang over my shoulder and have to constantly comment on and approve the work through every step of the way.

He’s aided in the erosion of my confidence in my work, talents and abilities. When he’s not here, I can be me again.
