When I attended Art School in Pittsburgh I commuted from home during my first year, but for the second year I moved into the city. I shared an apartment on the North Side which is just over the Allegheny River from downtown. The apartment I lived at was upstairs, in the same building as Greg’s Comic Book Shop, “Eide’s Entertainment”. He called it that because besides comic books he sold magazines, record albums, 45’s, posters, T-shirts and beginning in the 1980’s VHS movies. By the way, that building is long gone. It was demolished so they could build the Baseball Field, PNC Park. Greg eventually moved his store across the river into the city into a bigger building.

As far as I know, Greg is the only person that I know who’s died from COVID. As I said in the comic, he had just gotten his second vaccination shot but Greg had Crohn’s disease and even though he had his dosage he had Immune deficiency which caused him to get the virus and led to his death.
