I decided to NOT depict the image of that police officer, with his knee on George Floyd’s neck, taking his breath and life from him, that was shown on the video., in my comic today. That video is, in my opinion, horrific. How in the world, going forward, can anyone, ever, trust that the men and woman who’ve sworn an oath to serve and protect the citizens of this country, will do so? Will the officers who committed this crime, fortunately captured on video, pay for their crime? I doubt that very much.
