I probably come off as a bit callous at the end of this, but I’m in no way blaming the depressing feel of this place on the people staying here. I’m not talented enough to be able to really depict the feeling of this place. Especially without allowing you, the reader, to smell this place and to see the chaos I’d often notice around the halls. Not to mention some of the things my mom’s told me what goes on around here during a normal day.

As for my mom’s health, she’s felt fine for a few weeks now. The physical therapy she’s been getting is helping to alleviate the pain in her sciatica. IMO, the real reason she’s still in this home is that the facility wanted her to stay the entire month, so they could get a months worth of funds from her health insurance. But that’s just my opinion.
